- We collect information you provide (account details, videos, captions, comments, and support messages).
- We collect some information automatically (device info, usage statistics, crash logs, cookies, and—if allowed—location).
- We use information to operate the Service, personalize, improve, secure, support, and comply with law.
- We do not sell your personal information.
2) Who we are and scope
Cerion Team is the operator of Cerion. This policy applies to the Service and does not cover third-party services you may access through Cerion.
3) Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account & profile: name (optional), username, email.
- Content & communications: videos, captions, likes, comments, shares, and support messages (including attachments).
- Location (optional): approximate or precise location, only when you grant permission.
- Photos/camera & face-related info: processed only to provide the feature you request; no facial recognition; no biometric templates; by default your photos remain on your device; if uploading is required for a feature, temporary copies are deleted promptly after processing (where technically feasible); not used for training or marketing.
- Automatic data: device info, usage stats, performance metrics, crash logs, and diagnostics.
- Cookies & similar tech: used for login, preferences, performance measurement (may include web beacons).
4) How we use information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service (including account management).
- Enable community features (uploading, viewing, liking, commenting, sharing).
- Personalize your experience (relevant content, trends, challenges).
- Improve reliability and performance (analytics, debugging, product development).
- Safety and security (fraud prevention, policy enforcement, moderation).
- Customer support.
- Legal compliance and lawful requests.
6) International data transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. When required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

- Account data: retained while your account is active.

- Usage/analytics: retained up to 12 months.
- Support records: retained up to 6 months.
9) Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict/ object, or withdraw consent.

10) Children / age requirement (17+)
Cerion is intended for people aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17. If you believe someone under 17 provided information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
11) Optional AI-assisted features (if enabled)
Some versions of the Service may offer optional features that use automated processing (including AI) to help you create or transform content (for example, generating captions or producing an output you request from text or images).
- Your submitted text or images may be uploaded to Cerion Team’s own servers solely to perform the requested processing.
- We do not share your submitted text or images with third parties for this processing.
- We do not use your submitted text or images to train third-party models.
- Input data is processed and then promptly deleted after output is generated, to the extent technically feasible.
- You control whether to upload and generate outputs by choosing to use these features.
12) Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice as required by law. The Effective Date above indicates when this policy was last updated.
